An experimental digital zine that showcases indigenous Filipino fashion and design, featuring indigenous textiles, attire, and tribal motifs and symbols.
Overview
Building on the collaborative foundation of "Expanse: Building a Design Community," this project emphasizes personal exploration within design while maintaining the spirit of community. For this project, I created a zine that highlights indigenous fashion and design in the Philippines. The purpose is to encourage an open discussion about pre-colonial Philippines and embrace our ancestral roots, as well as to fight back against colonial mentality.
